So here it goes: following are 10 things to share with you this week- everything from recipes to shopping to a few fun articles and more. There are a few affiliate links included here and there. The Best Thanksgiving Pie Recipes:

A Pumpkin Slab Pie is an easy way to make pumpkin pie for a lot of people. Slab pies are great because you can just cut them into squares to serve. The filling isn’t usually quite as thick as a regular pie, so you’re just getting a taste of pie without it being overwhelming. It’s a fun way to make a giant pie! Shoofly Pie is a classic, old-fashioned pie recipe that is popular to serve for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Shoofly Pie is a brown sugar- molasses pie filling baked in a traditional pie crust. Sometimes its referred to as a molasses crumb cake. It’s a sturdy enough pie that you can pick it up and eat a slice with your hands. Sweet Potato Pie is a delicious Thanksgiving pie favorite! It’s an open faced pie baked in a traditional crust. The filling usually consists of mashed sweet potatoes, evaporated milk, sugar, spices and eggs. Classic Double Crust Apple Pie – made with tart, juicy apples piled high and wrapped in a buttery, flaky, double crust pastry.  To me, nothing says ‘home’ like Apple Pie! Hoosier Pie is also known as sugar cream pie, and it’s the most delicious pie recipe to try this year! This pie has a creamy, buttery texture. It’s not as soft as a cream pie, rather it’s somewhere in the middle between a cream pie and a custard pie. I love the sweet vanilla flavor of the pie with the hint of nutmeg sprinkled on top.

What I’m watching and reading:

Reality TV is my guilty pleasure when I’m watching TV all by myself. I binge-watched the newest season of Love Is Blind on Netflix on a recent trip. I love seeing if the people end up staying together. My husband would tell you I’m obsessed LOL. We’ve also started to watch the second season of The White Lotus on HBO. It’s good. I am enjoying it more than the first season. On my dog walks this week, I started listening to the podcast: Your Own Backyard- The Disappearance of Kristin Smart. I do remember this case since I was living in Southern California at the time. It’s such a sad story.

Fun Recipes I’ve spotted on the internet this week:

Nutella Cruffins might be something fun to make for breakfast during the holiday season! This Turkey Cheese Board is so cute for Thanksgiving. Slow Cooker Sweet and Sour Chicken looks like something good to make for dinner this week. Cinnamon Sore Throat Tea is a good homemade remedy for those who are feeling sick right now! Chocolate lovers might want to make this Chocolate Mousse Cake. Pretty sure I need a Twix Cheesecake in my life!

Here’s what’s going on in my life:

My husband had business in Nashville this last week, so I got to tag along! I wandered downtown Nashville and sampled some great Southern food. Nashville is such a fun place to visit because the bands are so good in every single bar. They even had a band playing every day at our hotel. The Country Music Awards were held while we were there, so it was hustling and bustling! Peyton Manning was staying at our hotel, but sadly we didn’t see him. Is it too early to get Christmas decorations out? I am decorating TODAY because I just love Christmas and I want it to last as long as possible. I’m not sure what my son is going to say when he comes home for Thanksgiving… and there are Christmas decorations up instead of turkey things. Ha!

Products I’m loving:

Cute crossbody bag! My dog has this “White Paw” squeaker toy. Fun for a stocking stuffer? Look for the Wine Advent Calendar at Costco. Fun! I have the Always Pan from Our Place, and it’s my favorite skillet ever. It’s on sale right now! I actually have the Perfect Pot of theirs too. Great products. If you have a pool (or know someone else who does), these floating pool lights are such a fun gift. I had my first bunch of six of them for a couple of years, and now I’m finally buying some new ones. They gain solar energy during the day, and then the light up in different colors at night. They can float around in your pool all year long! Look for Salted Caramel Flavored Hot Cocoa at Traders Joe’s. YUM! Here’s a black Friday deal on this Keurig that’s a combo of a coffee and latte/cappuccino maker. We have it at my house, and love it. Check out this darling Christmas tree rug!

Bake this weekend:
