This is one of those recipes that you might see in a restaurant. I’ve had Cajun chicken pasta at a popular bar restaurant, and I’ve had it at a Louisiana-style cooking restaurant too. It’s hard to mess it up. As long as there is plenty of delicious sauce mixed with veggies and pasta, it’s probably going to be great. This is an easy recipe to make at home.

Ingredients needed:

pasta- spaghetti or linguine shredded or sliced rotisserie chicken Cajun seasoning butter red and green bell pepper mushrooms green onions heavy whipping cream half and half cream Parmesan cheese dried basil, lemon pepper and garlic powder salt and freshly ground black pepper fresh parsley

How to make Cajun Chicken Pasta:

The complete, printable recipe is at the end of this post.

Toss to coat the pasta with the sauce and combine with all of the sautéed veggies.

Since cayenne pepper is one of the main ingredients in Cajun spice, it does lend some heat to the recipe. I don’t think this one is overwhelmingly spicy. We’re not big fans of hot and spicy dishes at my house, but if you’re wary then you can add less. More can be added later.

Garnish individual servings with parsley and Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
