16 oz mozzarella cheese

2 cups breadcrumbs, store-bought or homemade

2 cups all-purpose flour

½ cup parmesan cheese, grated or powdered

¼ cup milk

2 pcs eggs

1 tbsp Italian seasoning

1 tsp garlic salt

5 cup vegetable oil, (up to 8 cups)

For Serving:

1 tbsp parmesan cheese, per serving

¼ tsp parsley, per serving

¼ cup marinara sauce, per serving

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare your breading station. Transfer your flour, Italian Seasoning, and garlic salt to a large bowl.

In your second bowl, combine milk, Parmesan cheese, and eggs. Whisk until evenly incorporated.

In the third bowl, add your bread crumbs.

Preheat your oil ready for deep frying.

Dredge each cheese stick in flour, dip in eggs, and coat in breadcrumbs. Then dredge in flour, dip in eggs, and coat in breadcrumbs once again. Repeat until you have coated all your cheese sticks.

Deep fry in batches until golden brown and crispy, roughly 5 minutes. Once crispy, drain onto paper towels.

Serve immediately with marinara sauce. Garnish with parsley and parmesan cheese.
