Gooey Butter Cake
It’s the simplest of cake recipes- using a boxed cake mix as a starter. It’s really a great cake that everyone seems to love! What makes it gooey, you ask? The gooey part comes from adding a good deal of butter and powdered sugar to the cake. That turns it into an ooey gooey butter cake.
I know it begins with a boxed cake mix, but I think you’ll find that it’s one of the most delicious, simple cakes you’ve ever eaten. t’s tough to eat just one piece!
I whipped this up quickly once and sent it with my husband on a guys camping trip. It was a big hit! They guys thought I was amazing, and honestly it is so easy to make that I felt a little silly for all of the accolades I received. I’ve made it for friends as an easy dessert to have at a barbecue too. Again, it’s always a favorite!
