I love these pecans!  They’re good snackers for munching at parties or during football games. Besides general munching, Hot and Spicy Pecans are also good to add to salads. They add a good punch of flavor- especially to a salad that has some sweet flavor in it like raisins or dried cranberries.

How to make Hot and Spicy Pecans:

Pecan halves are tossed with melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, garlic powder and salt. Then they’re coated with chili powder and baked at a low temperature for 30 minutes. These Hot and Spicy Pecans do live up to their name… hot and spicy pecans… the heat creeps in slowly as you keep eating them.

Consider making these pecans to give as a great hostess gift during the holidays! You can also make them and keep them in a jar to use when you have a need for them. I like to store them in the freezer so they’ll stay fresher. Then I just take them out when I want to toss them in my salads or when I want to add them to a charcuterie platter.

Try making some of your own spiced pecans- they’re so good. Enjoy!
