The best thing about these Low Fat Sloppy Joes is that my mushroom-adverse son has always willingly gulped them down like there’s no tomorrow. He doesn’t detect the mushrooms… or the other vegetables for that matter! The key is cutting all of those veggies very small. They get lost in the sauce. It’s a family friendly recipe. Our family thinks these are delicious!

olive oil mushrooms, onion, bell pepper, carrot and celery garlic ground turkey and ground beef ketchup red wine vinegar Worcestershire sauce dried oregano, salt and freshly ground black pepper canned tomato sauce whole wheat hamburger buns
