1 cup chicken, minced, or chicken breast
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1½ tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 pinch black pepper
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 Thai chili, chopped, or use ½ tsp chili flakes
½ tsp honey, or sugar
1 dl holy basil, lightly packed
Heat the pan on medium-high heat and add the oil.
Sautée the garlic until soft, fragrant, and slightly caramelized. Add the chicken and stir fry until it is almost cooked.
Add the oyster sauce, soy sauce, honey, black pepper, and Thai chilies. Stir fry until well combined.
Once the chicken is cooked, add the basil, and the stir fry should be ready after a few stirs and tosses.
Serve with steamed white rice and sunny side-up egg to have a fully authentic experience. Enjoy!
